Ron Wentworth has over 15 years of experience as a builder and designer, he has a degree in Carpentry and Construction from Worcester Vocational and also served 9 years in the United States Army as an Engineer (Reserve). Ron has done everything from building and remodeling, to kitchen & bath design in Boston, to new home and remodeling designs. Our mission is different from that of the rest of the industry, We believe that every customer, whether a homeowner or professional deserve to have quality design at a fair cost; are we the least expensive? absolutely not, though we are not the most expensive either. We are in business because we have a passion for what we do and we believe this reflects in our attitude and our work. One of the most asked questions is price, many people only look at the price and not what they are getting for the price. We are typically 2%-3% of the overall project cost, though this is not how we base our pricing it is the best way to describe how we compare. An Architect typically charges 10%-20% of the overall project and many do not have the 3D design capabilities that we do. When you consider the cost of your overall project compared to our cost, it’s a small price to pay for peace of mind. Of all the trades that will be involved in your project we are the least expensive trade considering we are providing the “instructions” for the rest of those trades. Most towns and cities do not accept scratched out plans any longer, they expect professionally designed and detailed documents. Everyone knows someone who has had a bad experience with a construction project whether you have experienced it yourself, know a neighbor, friend or family member that has experienced it. We believe in building trustworthy relationships, in fact, most of our customers have become friends or even repeat customers because of our “design team” approach. We strive to provide a fun, relaxed and stress free design process. Don’t sacrifice quality or customer service for the least expensive price, unfortunately, you can only have one not both, many people who have chosen the least expensive price have regretted it later on and wished they had paid a little more for someone who really cares about their project, ask anyone who has had a bad experience with a designer, Architect or builder, they will tell you it’s simply not worth the hassles you will encounter.
